(4/7/11) — Webster Bank was a sponsor of the American Red Cross Connecticut Region's annual series of Heroes Breakfasts, which wrapped up today in New Haven, Conn.
Other events in the series were held March 10 in Danbury, March 16 in Farmington, and March 31 in Trumbull. These four inspiring events were designed to honor individuals in our communities who have done extraordinary things for neighbors. The Heroes Breakfasts offer inspiration from everyday people from all walks of life who are united by their good deeds and heroic service.
In addition to sponsoring the events, Webster employees helped select the winners honored at each breakfast.
"Webster is pleased to partner with the Connecticut Chapter of the American Red Cross in sponsoring the Heroes of Connecticut celebrations," said John Ciulla, Webster's regional president for Fairfield County. "One of Webster's core values is giving back to the communities we serve. We're delighted to honor these local men, women and young adults who embody the spirit of the Red Cross, and to recognize their selfless and courageous actions on behalf of others."
