(6/27/11) - Webster Bank, in partnership with its lead advertising agency Kelliher Samets Volk (KSV), has been awarded two bronze Telly Awards for the 2010 Webster television commercials, "Generation Gap" and "Fingerprints."
The Telly Awards were created in 1978 to honor the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions and word created for the Web. The Telly is one of the most sought-after awards by industry leaders at companies that vary from large international firms to local production companies and ad agencies.
This year's annual Telly Awards received more than 13,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents, with winners from big brands like Adidas and Coca Cola. A panel evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work and all entries are judged against a high standard of merit. Judges score entries on a performance scale, and winning entries are recognized and awarded as silver or bronze based on the combined scoring of the judges who evaluate each entry.
"These awards are quite an honor and the result of a collaborative effort between Webster and KSV," said Jennifer Hoynes, vice president, brand management.
